    it is all ludicrous, I'd love to see what they really sell for, I could put my car on for 10k but no one is going to bite.

    Where I live in New Zealand mk2 parts are getting thin on the ground,you guys have it real good ,these prices are BS,the last ebay trader describes his parts in great condition and then reminds buyers that they are off a 20+ yr old car and they look like crap,who wants to pay megabucks for rubbish.

    Perversly the price of complete mk2 GTIs seems to have dropped.

    18 months ago non running MOT failures were going for 1k+ on Ebay, now you can get a decent one for 700

    My dealing with UK ebay traders have been top notch but I steer around many ,some recently;
    Alurad Cup centre cap 1.50 pounds and freight to my country 29 pounds ?????.
    Rear shock bump stop rubber kit 9 pounds,emailed seller and they confirmed freight was 38pounds to my country?????.
    One thing that makes me sick is the tosers say they ''eat, live and breath VW's " and are quite happy to rip like minded people off simply because they maybe the only people who have that special part.
