Just wondering where you all positioned your Road Angels on the dash of your Cars?? Dont fancy using the chaddy windscreen mount in the kit

Just left of the instrument binnacle above the Radio using velcro, or is there somewhere more suitable??

Also, what did you do about the "miles" of spare cable for the laser alert??

    Cheers, Chris! :)

I used the winscreen mount. Bear in mind it's gotta be able to 'see'
out of the rear window fairly well for the radar detector, think about
    how you'll be aimed at.

Well its all fitted in now..

I put the box on the right hand side of the dash just above the heater vent..Fits lovely using Velcro to hold it..

The box itself only has to "see" out of the front windscreen to get a position fix...its the laser alert bit that needs to see forwards & backwards! ;)

Just got to find the time to hard wire it in to the ignition...im not much of an electrician though [:s]

Yeah, there's one on the front and the cack for the laser bit, unless you've got an external one?:)

I haven't used it in the Golf yet, but was wondering where to put it, cos the dash slopes...... (Can't wire it in, 'cos need to use it in both cars)

That's why they give you two cables Stella
, use the springy cable to swap from car to car and the other straight cable to hard wire in. Laser Alert cable unplugs anyway so that's not a ptoblem.

BTW, going over to Worcs this afty so updated the RA just now, took a minute, if that! [:D]

If there are only 6000 cameras in the whole country (a lot less than I thought) and surely the number of schools doesn't increase that much, then surely it shouldn't take very long to update anyway?

Some cameras which flash up as *mobile* on contraflows/roadworks on the motorway might get moved from that location.

So if you update the RA you would expect that if there were cameras moved from a specific location (as there have been on the M42 for ages) that the RA shouldn't have been warning me of at least 4 cameras that aren't there anymore on my way over here [:x]

Got another problem with mine, sometimes after being switched on for 30-40 minutes the screen freezes then goes blank, unplug it for 5-10 minutes then start it up again and it's fine [xx(]
