Also gary if its crashing, check ur connection to the fag lighter....sometimes if its pulled out slightly it can cause this problem i found!

 

Surely it would go blank if it lost power to it? I'm wanting to hard wire it in, but if it's faulty i'll have to return it

When I say it goes blank, it's still lit up , but with no digits displayed.

hmmmm

sometimes it just went like that on mine, but was almost sure it was the fag lighter connection just coming out very slightly....

 

Contact Blackspot and tell them - they have a good rep for customer service. Not had probs with mine, but I know of a few probs others have had from other forums and blackspot have sorted them satisfactorily.

i've got the road angel 2 though with the built in laser detector so its got to be really

mental note to everyone with a 20vt you must say its a 1.3 carb
