that was my question!!! the wiring loom is to dificult!?i heard that you have to change the speedo.and a lot of other things...is this true!?what would be the diference in price from swapping the ABF engine only,and all of it,with the wiring and things..
Hidro what year is your Golf? It makes a lot of difference. there was a wiring change around late '89.
Then it needs a lot more wiring work. In late 1989 they changed to CE2 wiring, which means that a lot of the engines/ECU's will just plug in.
Yes it's a 50mm intake. My car has the ABF belts, tensioners etc.. bt the KR alternator/pas and brackets.
man...i wanna do this!!but the thing is...i might have to change the belt and tensioner on my KR right know,and if its swapable,then its fine,else its not gonna be.i'm not rich...i really wanna do this!!!
nice!so everything is interchangable... i don't know how much the engine is gonna cost me,but don't also know what it brings!! the thing where the oil filter goes its broken.is this also swapable for the KR one!?the oil filter is the same!? clutch!?mine(KR) is going out.i have to use the KR tranny.clutch from what!? take everything off the ABF and just use the engine and block with the KR inlet manifold and injection
