Hopefully someone can help me again [:D]

I have taken the door card off very easy! dunno how hard it will be to put it back on

Anyway the plastic sheeting is ripped above the door speaker and the door speaker on the door card is wet and damp, there looks to be run marks on the door card from the top inline with the door speaker gap

Can i take the plastic sheeting off? to see whats behind it???

What you reckon is causing the leek, the window seel??

    Help please

Can i take the plastic sheeting off though?

Cause it seems the water is coming inside the sheeting and not on the outside

'Door membranes' are surprisingly cheap from the main stealer,it's worth getting new ones and sealing them up with silicone or the like.

Until you get a new one, tape up the old one to help keep things dry!

    Yeah thats what they're called!
Did you say yours were plastic? on mine they are a foam type material which probably works as a better sound deadner, and insulator.

Yeah i am gonna tape it up, yeah mine is like a thin piece of stretchy plastic sheet defiently not foam material.

Would prefer to have foam type to cut down on sound

my doors (mk2) are done with flashing tape, they sound heavy when they close and to be honest are better than my membranes ever were, they havnt let a drop in and keep the roadnoise down!

    Flashing tape?? whats that?

Also should there be water coming in?? or is this normal and its just because of the rips in the membrane thats the problem??

I dont think there is much water just drips but over time and with the heavy rain it made a mess
