Well can't really remember everything at this stage but it went something like this.

Stripped everthing off the car, interior & exterior.
Rubbed whole car down to primer (white) by hand.
Primered and repainted over a long period then and gradually reassembled.

    Parts list to date:
    Chrome bumpers, irons & end caps f & r.
New 1.3L engine, 4speed box & 3 stage exhaust from low mileage mk1 (12k miles or something silly like that)
14in le castletts (painted silver at the moment but will be mirror polished in time)
    256mm audi brakes up front
    22mm master cylinder & 9in servo
New front left wing and front panel
    Koni Top Adjustables all around
    Eibach Springs
Some Poly bushes (on wishbones, rear beam etc)
Chrome rubbing strips, Chrome door mirrors, door handles, rear window surround (got seal with groove for that one).
Reupholstered original seats in black cloth & leather
Covered front door cards in leather, sprayed rears black from blue (came out v.well)
    New carpet
    New headliner
Flushed boot (havent fitted the solenoid yet)
    New filler neck
    Crystal front lights
    M3 rears
Front spoiler (nice thin one, I dont like the larger ones)
    Goodridge Stainless Braided Brake Hoses
    Front and rear wheel bearings
    Rear brake pads and cylinders
    Vent trims (dash)
New seatbelts (front) (Got generics from GSF, quite nice)
    Chrome Grille

    Misc work done:
Fuel tank removed, thoroughly washed out and refitted with loads of coats of thick paint
Whole underside sealed with thick paint anywhere there was plastic covering missing (car is more or less 100% rust free)
