Vee Dubs especially GTI's are cult cars and they had hundreds of designers and engineers plan and built these motors.
They are cult classics and tasteful mods are fine but fitting 1001 muller corner yogurt boxes designed by a 10 year old given some paper and a box of crayons for their birthday is not my idea of modification.

Instead of fitting airbrakes big enough to slow shuttle re-entry spend a bit on the engine, make it faster make it handle and make it rock.

But hey each to their own.

man, im so tierd of reading these "each to there own" posts. by all means, do whatever you like to your vws but with that mk3 and that corrado looking the way they do they should expect criticism. with a car like that hardcore ally is looking for a reaction, good or bad, so regardless of what you have to say about the car you should say it. at the end of the day if ally was reeeeally that bothered about what we thought she would have scrapped the project or left the forum. i quite look forward to seeing it finished actually but golfs like that make baby jesus cry.

yeah its a taste thing at the end of the day probably been lovin the oem look too long myself , but its her pride and joy and so be it . just doesnt do anything for me as not subtle enough .
