New mk1 to the forum pt 2 - 3 year update! pg3

few pics of my other mk1,well now my dads since,couldnt afford to keep it,didnt wanna sell the valver.
bought from inters 2001 for 5000.
50k miles from new 2nd owner,factory green glass,original matts,never had radio-got a panel ive never seen before,original paint,even the dash and d/cards,bumpers etc... are dull as they should be. everything is bling!

was gonna revamp my mk1 valver and had a picture in my head of what it would look like,YOURS!

 

Aye, almost perfect that - 'tis really very nice.
Same goes to you Cheesebadger.
Only things I'd change would be the rims, but then I'm not in a position to have such a mint car, so ignore me.
Is it me, or does your front plate fold down?

Hey lovely mk1, never seen that one before, love mk1's with the original decals and cleam trims like yours!

Engine bay is MINT as well as the rest of the car.

Ever entered in a concours comptition? im sure it would win.

 

still prepping the black 1 at the mo.
finished removing all the waxoyl from the engine bay,door shuts,tailgate and its so much better.nice glass like paint everywhere!took bout 2 month on and off.
ma dads been at the carpets with the sellotape too!
cant wait till the weather drys up to give it a lil run so the v/stem seals get some use.
