New R32 unleashed! (Official Pics)

    These are the first official pictures of the MK5 R32 to be released by VW Press:

    Power will come from the same engine as the previous R32, but using FSI technology the power has been uprated to 250PS (248bhp) meaning a dash to 62mph will be just 6.4 seconds. Although fitted with the DSG box the car will do the same sprint in 6.2 seconds!

    Prices are expected to start at 23000!! [:s]

    Nope, we quashed that rumour a while back. The 3.6 in development was for the Touareg.

    Press release cars always come with the lightest interiors to highlight the trim detailing. Im sure there will be options. Think the exhausts look ace, and definitely true to the spy pics some 1 year ago. :)

    I thought it would look a bit more exciting. But I daresay if someone gave me one, it would grow on me.... :lol:

    German car fans

    i'm a fan of the MKV really nice to drive be interesting to see how this fares, much like the old R32 Im a bit disappointed that it does not feature wider arches
