i just got 195/50/15 eagle f1s on mine a week ago for 30 each, i cant rate them enough, very good and at a cheap price. Had 195/45/15 tyres beforehand and although they had less roll in the corners it didnt arf make a bang when you went over a crack in the road.
Also the 195/50s fill the arches a lot better and now the bumpers dont scrape on the floor when i go up a steep incline.

    They`re pretty crap TBH mate...

As Matt says, they wear ridiculously quickly, without even trying, and they are shocking in the wet.

Eagle F1 GSD3s are the ones you want. Their dry grip is on a par (maybe even a bit better) than the Toyos, but in the wet is where they come into their own.

They clear water so well, that they grip almost as well as they do in the dry.

They are also extremely hard wearing (surprising given their grip). You know how I drive (;) ) and the fronts lasted almost 18 months (about 18000 miles); one rear was replaced due to a flat spot from a seized caliper, but the other one is still on there after over two years, and still has around 3-4mm of tread.

actually i was shocked this weekend driving down to buxton past cat and fiddle in the rain as stumc said they are just as good in the wet as in the dry, the rain didnt seem to affect the handling at all.

Right found a good price on some 195/50/15 but my rims (estorils) are 6inches wide...is it going to look stupid/handle weird going from a 185 to a 195 width tyre?

    Thanks
