Alloy cracks real easy, if you smack it with a hammer too hard it'll be nothing but scrap, give it a go but just be aware!

I've had wheels with much bigger dents that that. I'd skim a bit of fieer over and ignore it.

Shame they're 14" - not worth much are they?

Just tap it out with a hammer don't go mad though. If you have a da sander use 80grit then 180grit to get the rest of the damage out. Easy repair though.

i think you would be very lucky to see 150 for 14'' ra's.

Well, with no offence meant, the term 'refurb' can mean anything. Done professionally, then perhaps they'd be worth 150, but not a spray can job regardless of how many hours you put into it.

I'd personally flog them on and hunt down some 15" RA's.

mmm let me see ,buy some wheel for 40 quid ,take a big hammer to one of them thats bent, sell them for four times as much as you bought them for, without tyres?...how many times have i told you j, those are not smarties your eating...............

on a more serious note, them wheels are nice, when they are all mint .IF the one thats damaged still holds tyre pressure and doesnt feel like a fat bird riding a jelly on a water bed,you should get your money back, repair the bad one properly and throw some good tyres on you should get your 150.00
    imo

Not really, i sold a set of 14" RA's for 230 on ebay a couple of years ago, newly refurbed (by me) with ok tyres, looked mint see below. They are liked by Polo owners amongst others.

yeah but tyres are shot, cost him 40(?) to buy the wheels, plus say 40 for materials to re-furb? lucky to get 140+ for 14's without tyres...... so he has to refurb a bi@tch of a set of wheels so sand down for 60 profit if that?

Its all fun though isn't it. If they look good he could do my RX 2's for some more fun/practice (For the price of materials + a pint obviously).
