no insurance for me then

    i did a online quote on autotrader for TPFT on a 1983 golf mk1 1.1c

    and was told 1715.89p. [:^(]

    i nearly had a heartattack. the cars only 400. i can go buy a f**king house for that money.

    f**king assholes. [:x]

    does any one know a cheaper way for me plz..

    how old are you?
    hic-classic car insurance,i had the mk1 insured for 300 with 14 points declared. :)

    i was hopeing that it would be cheap insurance so that i could do it up like my brothers (skunklook) but i think i'll have to gill that a miss [:^(]

    trust me m8,youll get it a lot cheaper than that!
    just have to try plenty companies,tell them its garaged etc,and see if you can arrange a higher excess ;)

    i had a excess of 100. would should i go up to.

    is that your mk1 riley? it look sweeeet. are the front wheels wider than the back or is it my eyes

    Go with CIS in one of your parents names, on an 'any driver policy.

    I had the Mk2 GTI 8v insured like that at 18 for half that!

    mine was 500.?.

    yep its my mk1,must be your eyes,the rears are wider than fronts :lol:

    i dont know if i can go to 500. that more than the car :lol:

    iam training to be a panel beater and sprayer soon so that may help.

    alt, dont bother with the online forms they are crap, your best off ringing arround.

    also, can you slow that sig down its doing my head inn !!

    although i got an online quote for a g60 that wasnt too bad.....

    HIC and Adrian flux have always been cheap for me, but i went with CIS for my first car. DONT go under your parents name, as you wont earn any NCB, and your insurance will be very high once you get a better car!
