Speedball 2 ruled. Brutal Duluxe! ICECREAM! And they have recently released a new version! No idea if its any good though.
The second is Black Tiger <a favourite of mine> The third is 1942 The fifth is Green Beret / Rush'n'Attack Will get an X360 soon just to play the new Speedball well maybe GTA4 too
I got speedball 2 on my xbox, i still play it in retro mode, it looks better than the new 3D version, still plays awesome tho!!!
I love retro gaming, got spectrum games running on my DS going into 4 figures. Have the mame & roms somewhere, can get a bit hardcore if you start collecting all the cabinet/box pictures to run in the program. I did have the amiga emulator before but last time i tried i couldn't find all the system files for it. That joystick reminds me of the kempston microswitch
Had the Amiga emulator too, and the SNES one/MEgadrive etc. they're all very good and that, but i do find that you play each game for about 2 minutes then give up and try the next one. Personally, for retro gaming, get over to oolite at http://oolite.aegidian.org/ for an updated version of Elite, the space trading game. Now thats something that i could play for hours!
..Speedball 2 - ah the memories! The easiest way to win was to keep pressing up/down, depending on where you had to score, and just keep punching.. a doddle!
Was watching full Metal Chellenge on Dave earlier andthey had agame on there that reminded me of a classic old skool game I loved way back when, and want to play it again. Stunt Car Racer Anyone got any idea if its possible to find a way to play it still? EDIT: well,I found it. google was my firend, as is DOS box
I've been playing it now for nearly a hour and a half Oh yes! That monotone PC speaker sound is awesome. And Flames out of the exhaust. Someone needs o make a new version of stunt car racer. Sod the GT/F1 type racing games
hey, I had it on the C64 mate! totally orange track with just black lines for the edges? Go Geoff Crammond! the 3D legend.
