    Been playing them on my spectrum emulator on the DS [:D]

    Alien 8 & Batman were good (Knightlore style).

    Never got round to Alien 8 ... shame really, I loved Knightlore !

    The basis for Grand Theft Auto ! It was great you could run down pedestrians :lol: circa 1986 !

    Interstate 76 was fantastic. I got it with my Microsoft forcefeed back joystick and played it using that. :)

    Remember playing most of one mission with a flat tire and the joystick giving me whiplash.
    :lol:

    Interstate 82 was pants. Not the same mission structure, buying bits etc. as it let you pick cars to drive.

    I prefer remixes the other way, C64 to modern synths, but that's still pretty good (8bit).

    classic gaming thread, brought back loads of memories...

    Knight lore, Batman, Head over Heels were classics......

    Keep em coming...proper games....never realised people remembered games like Turbo Esprit etc...

    Daley Thompsons Decatholon was another.....how hard / fast could you hit those keys?!?!?!

    Way back in the day ..... circa 1990 my best mate bought a Neo-Geo so we could play actual Arcade games at home. I think the Neo Geo cost about 200 and each game cost 100 !!!! [:s] At the time it was amazing. Rather than walking down to the seafront arcades we could play them on the Television in the front room.
