hello, as the nights are drawing in and bad weather will soon be on the way id like to get a set of winter wheels to protect my bbs, i was thinking g60 steels, problem is iam unsure as to wetaher it will ride too high on standard suspension, so has anyone got any pics of a small bump mk2 on g60 steels with standard suspension?

(please dont just say "well lower it" bla bla bla... etc etc thats not an option!)

    thanks!

I don't get it, surely it'll ride at the same height as it does with BBS..?

my bbs are 14" i suppose i could get lower profile tyres on the g60's to get the same ride height, for intence when the tyre is 185/65/14 does the 65 mean 65mm?
i think standard tyres on g60's are 195/50/15? so is the overall diameter of the wheel and tyre the same as my 185/65/14's?

sorry for all the Q's iam a bit confussed.

    cheers.

    thanks for the pics btw!

Personally, i would definately lower it as standard suspension is pants.

    Even 35/40mm would be good...

It would definately handle better to.

What is the reason why you dont want to change the suspension Copeidge mate???

    Hi,

The "65" is the profile and is a percentage of the tyres width for eg 65% of 185. The overall diameter of your wheels and the 15" steels on 195/50/15 or 185/55/15 will be virtually the same.

    Nothing wrong with standard suspension.

    Cheers

    Dan

Sorry but, what's the point? No offence meant but we're talking about a set of 14" BBS wheels, nothing special, regardless of your DIY refurb.

Spend your money on interior upgrades or girls.
