    to be honest just run the BBS through winter and keep them clean.

    Why would you want to spend 100+ getting tires on G60 STEEL wheels in order to save some 50 alloy wheels?

    Id have thought saving your money and running the 14s until the tires die and then buy some 15inch BBS with 195/50 tires would be a MUCH better investment.

    ye i know what you mean but id rather spend 100 quid than spend god knows how many hours refurbing them again

    As per your other thread, you hardly do any miles so its 100 wasted in my opinion. Of course, its your choice though :)

    14" Steelies can be had v. cheap. Might be worth considering. They were standard fit on Mk2 GTIs too.

    g60 steels tend to fetch fairly good money, as everyone else has suggested i would just buy some 14'' steels or some cheap alloys to use in the winter

    I've got some cheapo alloys that are all black at the moment, tyres on them are ok I suppose. I'd sell them because I'm not all that big on how they look on my car.

    It's not like the BBS would get ruined if you kept them clean over the winter, they're only RZs anyway. Spend that money on some second hand coilovers.
