Quick update. Bought a tool and just set everything up as VW intended. My guess at setting the cam wasn't a million miles out..................it was further. About 20 degrees! Literally 2 mins with the new VW tool(T10075) and it's all done. Idles lovely, smooth, and with the complete head rebuild now pulls harder than ever! Big thank you to Cookie at Swansea Audi for ordering in a tool for me. Top man and always happy to have a chat and windge about life in general lol. 10/10. So, job done. Thanks all
Ive asked myself at swansea Audi and theyve said they cant sell tools, you must know someone at the branch to get hold of that. Im in desperate need of this tool! any chance of renting the tool off you to quickly set it would be great. THANKS! chris.
