Wish bone bushes are easy, I used prothane from a GSF kit (bought a kit s/h)

OEM Beam bushes are a bit of a c**t to get out, but the 2 piece Polysports from Rally Design (11 each + vat + p+p) are easy to fit. - Literally just slide in,then tap the sleeve through the centre

Make a lot of difference [:^:]

Hopefully shall be fitting a full set of powerfelx front wishbone bush's during the xmas front end re-build [:D]

Have fitted powerflex rears already, literally a 10min job perside max, once you know how to remove the original bush.

do rally design have a web site?

was gonna go for powerflex rear ones to fit over xmas, but if the polysport ones are cheaper and you reckon they're as good then i'll go for those instead. they're two piece aren't they?

also, how'd you get the old ones out? drill loads of holes, then pull out the metal centre, then chisel the remaining rubber out? you also have to cut away the metal ring thingy on the rears don't you?

i'm planning to attempt doin it without removing the beam completely as well!!

    Rally Design website

I got wishbones and rear beam bushes from them. They sent them really quickly. I havn't had chance to fit them yet, so don't know how hard it is. But the quality of them looks to be very good.

I also got a powerflex anti roll bar bush for my front Eibach ARB. looks to be the best made out of the lot.

The bushes I got with the Eibach ARBs seems to be a bit less well made, but again, havn't fitted them yet so can't say for certian.

All I can say is I fitted Powerflex Bushes all round, and I'd recommend them to anyone. Tightened everything up nicely and if anything the ride is better than standard rubber.

If you want your fillings shaken loose by cheap poly bushes that's your lookout, personally I wouldn't go there.

I'm tighter than a duck's ar*e - No way would I pay 50 quid for powerflex beam bushes, or 40 quid or whatever they are for powerflex wishbone bushes :(

These cheap bushes tightened up the handling of my car for little outlay, what more can I ask for?

I've got an OMP race seat with no padding, fillings - what are they? :p

right so the actual rubber of it is still one piece (unlike the powerflex ones if i'm right?) but its not a prob cause you squish it through easily then hammer the metal sleeve in place?

    any other tips?

acf: i think what gary is saying that the bush is in 2 pieces, then you tap the sleeve through both!

The rear poly bush's are one piece, and then you push the metal sleeve inside them.

As Andy says - You get the poly bush which replaces the 'metallastic' bush and the sleeve for the bolt.

    2 pieces

    bush
    sleeve

dad has the polysport red ones, and there is no noticable harshness

from doing the job, i wouldn't even dream of doing it without removing the beam
