    This is on the GTI

The tie rods are a pain cos of the way they fit into the PAS rack, which prob means i'm gonna have to pull the rack out to fit the longer tie rods [:x]

Actually a much easier way is to space the stub axles out ;)

I'm gonna do this, as the eibarc rear ARB wont fit a wider beam :)

    Here's a couple pics.

Passat spec Suspension gear being fitted, same width as the MK3 VR stuff, but has the correct ARB point on the wishbine for the mk2 ARB

Not sure on the exact track increase, but it is around 18mm per side by the tech info on the track rod specs

Did the wide track on mine just a few weeks back, when i measured it was about 35mm wide each side on the front, i changed the wishbones (kept my poly bushes) and tie rods didnt bother changing driveshafts but seems fine so far... i spaced out the stub axle for the rear 10mm, couldnt be bothered changing the whole beam as i'd need different poly bushes, but an eibach arb would fit a wide rear beam!

Did you measure it blindfolded [:s]

No dnager its 35mm per side - the track rods only differ by 18mm per side ;)

Incorrect - the arb's (eibach or otherwise) fit a wide track VR beam
