    Why make it up?

Nothing to gain unlike if you clocked it backwards by 450,000.

I saw this ad earlier and posted it up on uk-mkivs. It's definitely a scam. The exact same photo is on Autotrader here

I've sent the seller a question asking if his pic is of the actual car or one he's pinched off Autotrader.

See my post and everyone's replies on uk-mkivs here

When I first saw the car there had been 13 bids in the first 6 hours! 21 bids now in 8 hours!

The engine is only 3cc too

I hope "the interior and body looks new with few stone chips" on my car when it's done half a million miles! I'm plagued with stone chips already at only 27k! [8(]

I wouldn't buy a car with 500k miles though - R32's aren't THAT rare and there's plenty more out there with less than 20 times the mileage!

Something about his username makes me think it's a dodgy deal too - people only say they're an honest person when they're not! [:[]

His feedback is suss too - a couple of people are no longer registered users - maybe they don't want people contacting them asking for specific details or something?? And several of his feedback seem a bit short to be genuine ie. "Fantastic" and "No Probs"

Maybe he is genuine, but I certainly wouldn't buy it! :thumbd:

why would a jeweler use a high performace car that has high maintence, low fuel economy, low security, as a glorified courier.
You just wouldnt [:s] . You'd certainy choose something with a track record of longevity at the least.
Morelikely, you would use a method with slightly highier security!
def a scam without a doubt imo.

Well if its for real (and technically speaking it would be possible... just) he's spent about 90k on fuel alone[:s]

My MFA on the bora tells me that on the journeys I do (lots of
motorway) I average a similar average speed (when the car is in use) to
that which would be required if he were to have the car on the road 18
hours in 24... somethings up, but nobody's going to know what til they
    cough up for it.
