sorry, but why would he make up all that poo so he can beat someone up for money, if it was that sort of scam he would just put an r32 up there for sale, no need for the mileage rubbish.
its strange why he put the pic of another car on there, but i cant see how this can be a scam. yes i'm sure its bullpoo, but surely someones just seeing what mugs people are for a laugh, that car would have gone for big money knowing what ebays like, but who in the right mind would actually buy it.

to be honest i think its more likely to be a set up from a newspaper or car mag, to test how far people will go on ebay, im nit saying it is but i just cant see where there could possibly be a scam here.

its crazy to think its safer to buy a car to transport jewels to spain and back ?

Well he's not likely to list it as a former crack/dope/e's runner's car I suspect which would be more believable? ;)

2 reasons for the mileage thing. 1, you want the person to think this is a rare opportunity to pick up a bargain, so they are likely to forgo common sense in their excitement at what they are getting. 2, If the car went for say 18 grand, it is very unlikely anyone would pay that with cash, so you need to keep the price down for the buyer to turn up with folding stuff so you can mug them.
