It you call Novemeber 2003 "not long back", then aye.

Lots and Lots has happened between now and then involving car doors, axes, 5 years of weather and a change of ownership and a bit of direction. But needless to say, it was looking a bit rat look. But hopefully it'll be back to its best soon enough by Rigs' hand.

Cor, look at that - a Thread number of under 1200 - Old skool

Thats not a weld in cage. Just a Saftey Devices cage, and a welded in bar across the rear struts. More as a strut brace type thing really - and before that can o' worms is opened, not a harness bar :)

It does look cunningly like it is a weld in cage from that angle though

    You got arc eye again?

So is it a standard MK2 cage with no cutting of the dash required?

Yeah, "standard" mk2 Saftey devices cage.

This pic is taken of GVK's cage in his car - it's close, but designed to fit around the dash.

The only issue is SD did go out of business at one piont, but have since come bak but based in europe somewhere. I have heard of difficulties getting hold of new ones. But then there are others on the market I believe.

Rigs' Rallye is currently under going "brightening" now that the engine was running well, reliably and quickly.

Work in the rallye was delayed while project Lupo "SDI" was completed, but now thats done Rigs is hitting the Rallye with all kinds of things.

I'm mot going to let on as to whats happening till its done, or he gives the ok though.
