RANT 4 door GTI WTF why do it

so you can shoot yer muck up the mrs without worrying about having to sell the car

I like 5 doors - it gives more choice for getting out of the car, although I will admit, getting out of the hatch I do find a little childish

 

Lol, I did the clever thing. Took the back seats out. No need to be moving as they just ain't getting in

 

I much prefer 3 doors, not sure I'd have a mk2 in 5 door form, just really don't like them.

 

I heard they break alot, and parts are hard to find...but hot damn i'd have one of those lol

 

I prefer 5 doors, hence why having one. But i do have a family and when getting the car i considered my previous car (convertable) and the hassle with them. Its a personal thing, some people love them whilst other hate them.

 

And some people love to hate, so you'll never win lol

 

mk2's, yes, 5 doors look pap

mk3's, all look awful

mk4's, prefer the 5 door, don't like the huge doors and rear quarters on thr 3 door.

mk5's, undecided, but 3 doors do look very sharp.

 

Hey !!!! there nought wrong with the 5 door Golf ! I had one in the MK3 Gti and i thought it looked sweet and still had the practicallity ! nothing wrong with it ! i may have a 3 door now, but still ! nothing wrong with the 5 door, thought it looked awesome in the MK3

love these in white and b/b's (not the full colour-coded cheesy look that killed the wht mk2 image)!! everytime i see a nice mk2, i'm gutted!! could've had a mint one, pure cheap and org - so tempting!! still - always wanted a 3dr oak green, so i'm happy - honest!!

But i'd have a 2 door jetta all day - sod the practicality!
