Just following on from this garage trained inspection lamp thread

    http://www.clubgti.com/forum/showthread.php?t=121374

    ... and Daz's quote:

... what should we be paying for these? Halfrauds had one about about 25-30, but I thought I'd put it down until I'd asked a few knowledgeable souls.

    Cheers

The one I've got is by 'Powerhand' and was about 70.

How pi$$ed off was I when I lost it.

But relieved when it was found in a customer's BMW !

I've been trying to get one of the LIDL ones for 9 quid, but they seem to be out of stock. At that price, I don't care if they walk!

I did buy two mains lead lights for 7 quid each...nice bit of kit too, considering the price. I wouldn't use 240v lights under a car though drop a spanner through the bulb and you risk getting fried.

I've got a couple of the LIDL ones, which are OK, and the in-car charger is handy, but my RING one is better - brighter and lasts longer.

I've got the first one - good piece of kit. Clips in the top pocket of your overalls and lasts for several hours.

iv got power via 100m of extension so i use full size florescent strip lights cant beat them, but I also use a 8LED head light which is soooo handy for looking in tight spaces.
