Just seen a couple of pics of the car it's black and a y reg with rusty sills hopefully not to bad I'll keep you posted as soon as I get chance to take a look it's only 5 minuets away but never seem to have the time lol Probably wasting to much time on here lol
So finally got around to having a look It pretty bad don't know if it's worth saving ? What should I pay as don't want to over pay or get ripped What do you think? It's been patched on inner wings had new sills and been left covered with a tarp then it's just sweated Alternator sized rear brakes ? It's only 5 minuets from me so can check it out and get more pics now I know where it is
Yes very disappointed Haven't got a problem with doing welding but time is a factor Passenger door dropping off hole at the back of a pillar at bottom of window
I know, looks a little too much work needed, by the time you weld and paint it and replace the interior parts etc you would be lucky to make a small loss lol
Id sack it off Micky. Looks like alot of work and thats what you can see. Better to put you time and money into your others.
Ill have it and wont break it i can save it if you dont want to. it's just what im looking for might be a 20v thou
At least its not the sunroof model. So one less thing to worry about. At least if your not up to doing, nut20v is. Would be a shame to just scrap it. Looks to be alot of work though.
It's a shame that it's been left in such a state, if it had been looked after and stored right it would be a much easier job to restore.
Yes looks like a job for kempster Still torn Might put re 2000 in my mates garage and save the mk 1 for a rainy day
Oh wow, Look at that interior!lol It's going to need a lot of time spent on it, You the only one that can say if you can spent that on it...What with all your other projects.
sorry but can see lots of potential in that and all the panels are lot easier to get hold of now than mk2 stuff is
It looks like something that should be saved, but given the condition of some parts as above I think there's a lot more to come a huge undertaking. Is that 'injection' on the rear window etched on?
