I like the wolfraces! Can't belive you don't like my old Oz wheels!! They have been collecting dust for far to long, on the look out for BBS's! To be fair your car is a set of RA's aways from being original.

    ye sure is.

urm, its some guy whos place is in stoke, somewhere near dubshacks new soon to be location. Dont no the business name actually, but its who they mentioned to me.

I went with the car for a look and in his workshop he had 2 or 3 mk1 gtis and mk3 gti, he mainly does golfs so im not worried about how the paints going to turn out, more so righting the wheel and the jigging!

its costing 700, and for this hes agreed to jig it, straighten the wheel, paint it all up (the front) and get the car tracked. He also picked it up which solved a problem.

ANother problem is, inititally I thought I was going to brake it, so spent 3 hours odd trying to get the exhaust off. And now its getting repaired it made that a complete waste of time! Plus he cant drive it to the tracking place cus of the lack of the exhaust. Just made another problem for myself!

Hopefully will all work out ok, hope it doesnt turn into a money pit :(

hes got a lot of screws to figure out locations for...

they are not that bad to work out, might have a rad as well but have to check it is the same as the 16v one first and i found a couple more clips for the foglights which i chucked in the passenger footwell with all the bolts for the front end, forgot to tell you that earlier!

Went along to the workshop today to drop off the exhaust, wishbone and the locking wheel nut, and afew other things.

The bonnet had already been sprayed, was drying and the front end was getting tidyed. Rust was being sorted on teh front. Luckly I think I got away with it being only a bent wishbone! yay. oh ye, just forgot about the front...

Urm, i asked him, how do u make sure the jigging is accurate, and he just said dont worry about it mate. I couldnt see a Jig around and they dont have a car ramp even, hmm...Oh well, will have to wait to see the finished job. I have confidence in the spraying part of it, just the accurate jigging im abit iffy about!

Should be done next saturday :)
