S/Steel Sunroof deflector arms

Does anyone know where I can buy Stainless Steel SUNROOF DEFLECTOR ARMS for a Mk2 GTI?

A few of them have appeared on e-bay but they are going for silly money. They are listed as a VAG part. Does anyone know the VAG part number?

Yeh i saw that i though it was just a bit of a porky.

 

Found an old post - should have searched first.

443 877 681 D FASTENER LEFT X 1
443 877 682 D FASTENER RIGHT X 1
171 877 651 B WIND DEFLECTOR X 1

My local dealer has quoted 10.42 + vat for each deflector arm. Does that sound right?
Or is that for the pair?

 

They come from VW like that.

is there a way of enlarging the picture on ebay to read the p/n?

could then check with etka or vw to see if its correct....

 

I'm sure mine were 2.50 each, i need a new one for the mk2 so i'll check it out.

1990-I am at work so have no pics.

It's the arm/rod that clips into the plastic on the deflector. This rod is attached to a base plate that screws onto the roof.

If you paid 2.50 - let me know PART NUMBER + where you bought them.

stever-&nbsp ;TRIED the enlarging the photo on e-bay - no joy - too distorted.

 

They come chromed as standard so make sure you dont get ripped off buying them on ebay. As has been siad, they are about a tenner each side........

 

mine are black steel, so if i go get em new they r chrome?

 

dont know, the only part numbers i can find on ETKA are:

443 877 681D Left
443 877 682D Right

Thats searched under a 91 Golf.

My car must be special then One less thing for me to get chromed!!

I'll get the part numbers off them and see if they match the ones i've just posted.

havent a clue, ring your local dealer and ask for a price check. they'll tell you instantly.......

 

that means i have to get off my fat ass n get 2 the phone n i dont know if i can manage that

they come black from the factory, but when ordered with vw they changed to chrome, they look very nice indeed i got some last year, they cost me 10+ vat each for the main drug dealer

 

Yup mine came all nice and shiney too, still the same after 2 years aswell! They were cheap, deffo no more that 6 quid a side, I'm sure of it!
