sequencial G box

    shouldnt be that tricky to sort out the theory at least.

    My idea is that the lever pulls a cable that goes to a stock master cylinder and servo (probably an appropriate one from a braking system that fits to a servo easily) that gives the power needed to lift the stock hydraulic clutch. It will take a bit of fiddling to work the leverages etc. but a decent garage should be able to knock up a bracket to hold the master cyl and servo and make it operable by cable. There are some fine engineers and designers on this forum who'll rip holes in this plan but its worth a test rig I reckon... [:$]

    There are a few other types about - just type in the words - Motability clutch hand - into google.co.uk, and they'll pop up......
    None of them look cheap tho!

    i havent got a problem with funds thier infinate as far as my Dubs are concerned but i dont like wasting it and i think ill just copy one of thier desighns with a mate to help me i guess i can knock it up for half the money theyll charge

    I want to build one of those as well, now...... wonder where I'd get a decently high powered servo for cheap......

    Have a dig through the new-ish Transits at the breakers, I'd have thort they might have chunky servo from the last time I stabbed the brakes, the ABS light came on and my pot plants took a dive :lol:

    I spoke to my Pa last night about this, he made one back in the seventies, (knew I'd heard of it before) so we know its do-able this way at least.

    I was thinking of an electric servo, yanking a cable......
    Maybe time to go to the aeroplane breakers? :lol:
