I had 195/50's on my 9x16's the other week, because I got the tyres for free, looked stupid and didn't turn corners at all

I've got 205/45's now, still doesn't turn too well, but my wheels wont fit otherwise [:p]

    ...No pics tho.

205/40/16 on the back (9") and 195/45/16 on the front (8"), a nice fit really, not stretched particularly far and lets me drive without rubbing.... much.

Why do people write "you" instead of "your", and "your" instead of "you're"?

Exactly. Why the desperate need to do something different and at the same time make your car not work properly and look stupid?

Why not just stick your bare **** out of the window whilst driving - will achieve the same effect and a lot cheaper too.

not only do they handle badly and dangerously. they also mean you have to go even lower to reduce the gap in your arch. even lower means more damage to your car even worse handling.

ontop of that you have no protection fromt the tyre against curbing.

after about the 3rd time of nearly crashing my car i changed back. to a wide low profile tyre. it actually looks a hell of a lot smarter and oem than a stupid rubber band.

maybe im just getting old lol

Not true... can be the opposite. If mine weren't stretched, the car wouldn't sit right and the tyres would be scuffing the arches causing damage. They're only done a smidge, but without it the car would look ****e

They are however illegal and will void your insurance if they are found after an accident.
