After some advice from Will I am going for the whole adventure of all the world before I go for sides - Imerials / Stromcloaks etc as Will says that the game will change forever once you join up.

I'm trying to stick to missions but once your en-route to a mission there's always a cave / town / mine to explore, next thing your miles away - fantastic!

Same as you, heavy armour but change to hood & robe for casting some spells at certain times.
Once you get some staffs, they are good for killing dragons as you can fight from a distance. Get the potions down you for dragons also - resist fire etc.
Also potions for fighting - strength, one handed etc.
I love it and say that it's easily the best game I ever played. Blown away by the scenery.

Just struggling to be able to carry all I need!

Been playing this a bit more now (on PC though) whenever i can get some time. Around level 15 now, and mostly sneaking and arching but getting to grips with magic a bit more.

Stuck in Lost Valkygg at the minute trying to kill the Draugr Deathlord, but think I'm a bit novice for it!

I'm up to level 12, focused all my upgrades on 2 or 3 key areas so I can defend myself in the wilderness much better. Had one follower die and the other's gone missing...but they weren't much use anyway tbf.

Beginning to enjoy it more now that I have a couple of decent dragon shouts to use.

    What is Blackreach all about?
Is there any point in it.
I have ended up here looking for the Elder Scrolls, do I have to continue through it to find the scroll and is there anything of interest in Blackreach.

I really dont see the point of it?

Now up to level 30, head of the Dark Brotherhood...and I got married. Murderous wanderers like me can have a softer side...

I see there is a patch out to fix the freezing of the game.

How do I manage to download it to the PS3 or does it do it automatically? Patch 1.4 I think?

All PS3 games i've played auto-update when you try to run the game, if there is an available update.

Anyone shed some light on the treasure maps?

I only have one and I have no idea where it's for. Is there more to find?

Yeah there's lots of them hidden all over the place. Do you click R3 to view the map in your inventory? If you look at it and remember/recognize the location on it there is a little trek and hidden treasure at the X.

The treasure is probably only some cash, depends if you need it or not.
