Agree with Alby. Small or big bumper doesnt matter to me, just ditch those horrible fat side strips please.

My valver is the same as it left the factory in 1986 and that`s the way I like it.Some prefer big others small and fashion dictates what is alright today is crap tomorrow personally small has been in and out twice since I have had my Golf so it doesn`t bother me what anyone else thinks the fact is I like them and that is that.
    Big side strips and all.

Just leave it be and as said previous never mix the big bumper with small bumper trim.

Anybody got a Post 90 trim with small bumpers?

whoever had my valver before me (and pettsy)put big bumpers on and left the big fat strips, doesnt look too bad as it has no arch trims... but still.

i wanted a small bumper mk2, so i got one.

the extra money for the big bumper cars didn't justify the lack of any benefits - and tbh i think i prefer the look

my car at the moment is all early spec including the doors (which just look shockingly bad on 4 door cars not so bad on three door cause the doors are bigger)

but its all coming off when i can afford and the big bumpers and 90 spec trim is going on

i prefer the 90 spec look, but some of the small bupmpered cars look awesome

i think 90 spec look bigger, meaner and newer

where as the small bumper with whipe weels look lower and phatt just depends what you like

i dont particularly care whats in or not i just go with what i like

i mean for gods sake 3 spokes were in once yuk yuk yuk

I think they both can look good when done right, but I prefer a nicely done small bumper to a big bumper usually... Depends on the individual car I suppose!

I like them both, but I think (IMHO) that they should wear the bumpers they left the factory with...

if you want Big Bumpers, buy a big bumper model.....
