Bit cheeky i know, but what did the induction kit and exhaust cost? Is carbon BMC much different to normal K&N cone filter?
induction kit was 150 fitted and the zorst was 425 fitted, then add the dreaded VAT rather than me type it all out... http://www.bmcairfilters.com/infoCDA.asp Edited by: b'locks
exactly my feelings. my plan's are to get a bmc filter and a powerflow back box...so i could specify that i wanted o.e. sound. 'b'locks' - anyway you can record the sound of your car and put it on here (i'm no computer wiz but it has to be possible!)? Edited by: acf8181
i don't know tbh. if someone knows how i could do it then let me know and i will! my brother was with me when i got it fitted and his first reaction was "it sounds like a scooby...only better!"
that was on the day after i had them fitted. tbh i don't think exhaust and filter on their own really enhance performance, just for looks and sound really. although saying that, i never had it RR'd when it was standard so it may have upped the bhp, but it wouldn't be by much. i've been wondering if i should have got a remap after having them fitted actually, as they'd only been on the car for a day so not really much chance for the car to adjust to the mods.
just ordered me a brand new supersprint for mine. Ok, so its not a VR...only a G60. Still rushed me 317 quid tho. ouch.
