It did - Mk4 has been in there for a couple of years IIRC.

How's he running the fuel lines etc Chris....inside or outside?

I think a friend of mine did them like this in his historic rally escort:

Cars looking in good shape whats the track width on the front looks super wide

Chris I have a setrab oil cooler fitted in a simular position and angle but on the n/s wing where the battery tray is. I found that i needed some 100mm ducting to the cooler from the front of the car as direct air wasnt reaching it and keeping as cool as much if it was front mounted. The difference was quite a few degrees maybe even 10

The fuel lines are OE items underneath IIRC. There's an argument to put them inside to save the risk of pulling them off on debris, but it's relatively unlikely in trackdays, though not impossible!

The TRC article will be done more like March/April earliest I'd say.

The front track width is +about 15mm / side I think. Longer driveshafts were sourced, one from another VW, and one bespoke one.

I guess ducting must be the plan for the oil cooler - although I have't asked. There was some great ducting Frazero made up for their yellow VW Cup Mk4 in 2001/2. Said hosing, which connected to a brake duct funnel in reverse direct to the cooler (bespoke, but similar idea) then a funnel on the other side of the cooler, and off down the hose to the bottom of the engine bay. They make car plastics though, so they could just make whatever they needed, but the quality was awesome.

oil cooler looks a bit close to the chassis leg, can the hot air get away from the back face of it?

Cheers again to fthamike for the video edit skills on this one, turning my rough VHS copy into something watchable!

It's from the VW Driver Day at Combe, October 2000, myself actually driving, and possibly the only video of the car (I know of) when it ran the old 16V TB'd motor. Bill and a few others will recall the day - Bill's Jetta's also prominent in the vid, aswell as the Dialynx Quattro (look out for the mid corner wiggle).
