I love these Edition 1 Recaros, they make any Mk2 interior look the tits.
But its rare to find a mint set these days...

I agree with the edition ones. there is a pair of electric recaro seats from a rallye on German Ebay they look in pretty decent condition, I would post the link but cant access it from work. I tihnk they suit the age of the car too. I think some of the new designs like the R32 dont suit the rest of the car.

I agree but they went for 500+ and they needed work too - the drivers side bolster was split all down the side - would have needed new leather trim on it - another +/-500 plus the postage over here nearly 500 Euros!! Over my budget.

Worth noting that buying a German set makes for a good drivers as they are on the other side of the road over there.

I've been looking at it - would be good to combine it with a holiday in the summer.

I reckon I'm getting something sooner than that.

    The debate rages on!

    Cheers all.

never been a fan of half-leater, my all time favs are the MK2 GTI ones in the late blue striped pattern, yes the ed1 seats are rarer (especially the ones with '16v' on the headrest) but I prefer the blue pattern. You can get them in Corrados too, with a matching rear bench

    Lads, get your tissues ready.

May I present the ultimate 4-seat fully orthopaedic Recaro interior, as fitted to a 1980s Zender 190E:

Fishnet headrests, contrast carpets and coded dash. I'm wanting nothing more...

thems the ones, and they'll fit in a mk1 so they'll fit in a mk2.

G60 - cheers (this i missunderstood what you were saying!), i'll keep an eye out on the bay.

N/B - i'm liking them apart from they leather (not a fan of the stuff). again, will have to keep an eye out.

I've gone for these Recaro Expert L seats - got this one off ebay for 200 brand spanking with the correct subframe already on it. Unfortunately there was only 1 and although recaro still sell this model I'd be looking at around 600 for the other one at the minute. Fortunately I've got patience and will wait a bit to see if another comes up on ebay. Very comfortable seat.

I've got the fishnet recaros in my mk2 scirocco, but they have a different patern to those capri ones that were on ebay. Really nice and comfortable.

I think they came out of an MR2?

Or Black Colour Concept Leather Recaros from the Mk3 Golf =) my set is on the bay now!
