After a long long search for some decent original bumpers with good textured part I have bought some aftermarket ones!

Get them painted yesterday and just need to give them a flat and polish then they can be revealed! I must say I'm quite impressed and until some originals turn up if ever I'm very happy with the results

What technique did you use to get the lower splitter thing on the front bumper. i did mine last year and it took me hours to get it on and i really messed the plastic clips up. or is it just a PITA job??

Took two of us a bit off time, but the key is to do one at a time

A rubber mallet did come in handy! As well as hook tools [:D]

Started on my wiring loom for the emerald ecu, I bought a Audi loom for a few quid then cut the loom off so I've got injector plugs, Tps, iat and coil on plug etc

Took me about 2 hrs to get this far but I had pinned a few wires and traced the wires back first

I phoned emerald as I have an M3DK ecu but it was running cop before I bought it but they don't have a record of this one being upgraded so took a bit of sussing out

Another boing update but it's an update!

Pinned the rest (most) of the terminals into the ecu plug, just need to pin the earth and positive feeds and get my trigger wheel sorted

Tailgate finally built up, roof gutters fitted, outer scrapers and robbed the mirrors off the grey one

Ordered a new genuine set of plastic arches today as I'm fed up trying to find any decent second hand ones was a dent in the pocket!

Number plates ordered which should be here midweek, new bulbs fitted in all the lights, just need to get the wiper arms painted and on and I think it can actually go for its first MOT in about 7 years

I feel nervous about driving it TBH! As it's only ever been driven about 50 yards in first and second around the yard in the time I've had it!

Don't be nervous, it's not like it's a valuable blue or white one. Just make sure you don't scrape the gate on your way out otherwise you'll devalue the gate.
