Its the only way to make sense of an argument that makes no sense in the first place.

I have indeed, looked at a Rx-7 But not sure i fancy my chances with the engine, don't they require oil changes every 3 miles?

I`d take one of these ...

    ... over a Skyline/Supra/200SX/RX7 anyday.

Unless of course its a Skyline 2000GT-R/KPGC10.

chalk and cheese tbh. Someone who wants a Supra isnt going to have any interest in a Trueno or a 70s skyline IMO. unless they want to buy both.

How much you thinking of spending to buy one Jetta's (Octane)? Bit of a large upgrade from a Vectra ain't it?

Not being funny I can afford to buy and insure a Mazda RX-7, Skyline, Supra when I finish uni as it'll still be cheaper than buying a 2nd hand Seat Leon Cupra TDI which is what I want. But the main reason why i'm not is due to running costs on the long run realistically!

Yes you can pick turbo supra's at around 8K for a good one, but they are still a 10-12 year old car, and you can't hide that! Fuel costs with will be high, given the way you describe your driving!

What job do you do by the way Octane as I know your around my age or slightly older?

perhaps I should rephrase that. I like them both, but theres only one I would buy unless I had the funds for buying every car I like ;)

I don't driven anywhere as bad as i say on here, I just love winding people up. I get 33mpg out of my V6 ffs. hardly mental :)
I'm fully aware fuel is around 22mpg, but its not an issue.
My job? i work in a factory, but i hardly ever got out drinking and save over half my wage per week. Which btw is a fairly tidy wage.
Hopefully next yr i'll be a fully training fire fighter too. So i'll have 2 wages :)
Not really that much of a jump. Was more of a jump from a 1.6i jetta to a 2.5 vectra. :)

Had a look, Jap import Supra's are restricted to 280hp, whereas UK spec have 326hp. But they can be derestricted to have the 326hp!

    326hp on a rear wheel drive supra=drifting! [:D]

*Dad mode* forget spending silly money on cars ect you want to be saving for a down payment on a house, its getting more and more difficult to get onto the property ladder these days *dadmode*

or buy a camper van with a porsche engine fitted, that way you get the best of both worlds
