TT rear wishbone bushes on Mk2?

    exactly the same, but the metal sleeve won't fit.
    some say it's there only for centering the wishbone before tightening the bolt.
    i wanted to fit the sleeve anyway so i went to a craftsman for drilling the hole accurately.

    they are a direct replacement. & yes the metal guides dont fit - but the bolt is a tight fit so no need to fit sleeve as there is no play as such. no fiddly/faffing about at all :)

    the bolt is thinner than the hole.

    you may need to get new bolt from vw(about 2 quid each) or local fixings place if they can supply them.

    i noticed on mine due to mine for some reason chewing up guide sleve there was an excessive amount of rust on the bolt around guide sleeve area and this had 'thinned' down the shaft of bolt to create play may have been ok once tightend up but for the sake of four quid its easier just to replace.
