Probebly, if thats the case then so be it. I can still get a decent kick out of the meth injection.

I had an anni' mk3 gti, they do look similar. I was told they were splits. Not sure if they were or just fake bolts.

Due to the world Fuel shortage i've been running the Fabia 1.4TDI PD on a 50/50 mix with the weather being warm

Runs Quieter and just as good but will run 100% Derv next fill and then 50/50mix so i don't strain the pump too much ;)

RR Day at Chipwizards on Saturday so will see what the Turbo Veg Wagon is pushing out

Im a bit confused, i understand titration makes wvo ph neutral, so untreated wvo is quite acidy. Does this mean you can run filtered wvo untreated aslong as you upgrade seals etc. so treated wvo does not need seal changes etc.

    Have i got that right?

I have found a supplier of wvo, but i dont want to store all the chemicals for titration, and tbh the pump would benifit a rebuild anyway.

My plan is to run my pump until the seals go and then fit viton seals...As a general rule of thumb, Bosch seal kits contain black seals (viton) and green (non viton)...the rear seal (injector pipe head end) isn't viton but is available in viton but not through Bosch and only from the states, I've yet to find the pulley end seal in viton

I have a viton fuel return pipe set, viton seals and a new front seal and the triangular bolt tool ready for rebuild time as and when they start to leak.

So, to answer your question, either worry about your acidity levels and adjust it or replace seals as and when they leak...the other option is a dieselbob pump rebuild to veg spec as brookster has done.

Don't forget, the twin tank system flushes the veg oil out of the pump and lines before shutting the car off so realistically the acidic issue is only during driving on veg, at no point is the pump sat with veg oil in

Ah i see. Mind you, for 250 quid for a rebuild to veg spec, on a pump thats done over 200k maybe a good idea anyway.

I have been researching automated controllers, seems fairly simple to build one.

    Automated twin tank controller???

It's no issue controlling it yourself, It's second nature now, in fact, when I drive the Audi, I reach for the wvo switch that isn't there lol

Lol fair point. Maybe just a series of feedback led's so i can see any faults etc. and a 555 timer or turbo timer to purge the system at idle while the car can be locked up and left.
