Fingers crossed I've sorted it I changed the blue sensor back to my really old one and it fired up first time, I shall be paying vw a visit Monday morning and voicing my disappointment Thank you very much for all your fantastic support
That's what i thought, but it didn't improve when you dissconnected it, so i discounted that.... You can test them by comparing the resistance, when at the same temperature. Or measuring the resistance from one pin to the engine block, or sensor outer metal housing, be careful tho, as at these high resistance readings your skin will effect the reading if you're touching the metal of the sensor or meter probes.
Well that's handy to know think ill try that b4 taking the new duff one back to confirm its faulty, just been out for a 15 mile run, no problems at all running sweet gotta nightshift tonight so I'm taking it to work, fingers crossed it'll start in the morning
