vdo sender question

    yeah so you keep saying :lol:
    it doesnt mention anything about the pressure switch part. best to either check the sensor when it arrives, or drop the shop an email :)

    right i got an email back from machine7 and to cut a long story short they didnt know what i meant [:x]
    anyway i now have 2 senders in my possesion both 5bar 1 is single pole and the other is 2 pole
    they both have numbers stamped on the spanner flats single pole says 0-5bar...3.06...29/1
    and the twin pole says 0.5bar...0.5+-0.15bar...10.09...30/2
    if anyone can make any sense of these numbers you're a better man than me lol [:s]

    0.5+-0.15 means its low pressure switch, so it goes in the side of the head :thumbup:

    you need to get the engine running to check it but id say use the two pole sender,take the wire off the sender in the head,replace with the two pole ,stick the blue wire on and the wire to your gauge

    at last lol thanks guys we got there in the end haha i just removed the old one from the side of the head and replaced it with a nice new shiny 2pole vdo, im gonna get it wired in later but i need to put the cam back on and stuff yet so i will let you know the results :clap:

    engine is running lovely now and the oil pressure gauge is working a treat, i just need to find out why the voltmeter has stopped working now :lol:
