standard 0-60 in a Vr6 Corrado is 6.7secs i believe. the Corrado weighs a shed load more then a MK2. Saf to say it would easily be around 6secs if not a lil less. Plus the added bonus of that noise!

Low 6's easy. Into the 5's if you can drive and you strip the car out.

I agree - mad even with the 2.8 as long as its running well -
noise makes it better. corrado gearbox is lower geared so
    faster all round.

I managed a 2.064second 60' time and a 13.75 1.4 mile in mine. compare that to other cars running similar times and you'll find that's a good mid to low 5 second 0-60.

he means 60 FEET. Havent you had the same reaction to the same comment by the same poster in another thread before Graham?

Oh and Dialynx's Quattro does 0-60 in about 2.5secs, I saw it do a 3.1 sec 0-60 in the wet, with my own eyes.

Wow thats a quick 1/4 Mile, what power you running. M8 in his RX7 Type R with 280BHP only managed 14.2secs it was his first go at it though. 0-60 in that is 4.6secs standard. :)

So basically a MK2 VR6 is as quick, if not quicker then a BMW E36 M3 EVO. Coz they do a standing 1/4mile in 14 secs. Mr BMW would not be a happy chappy! ;)
