i think if i was going to spend big money on a VAG suv, id prob go for the forthcomming Audi Q5.

Same. I just dont generally like them either. Look too tall, and bulky in general.

 

I hate to seem like a cold water merchant, but I don't buy this 4x4 stuff one jot - fashion garbage, and a total deviation from the VW standard fare.

Land Rover have been doing the job properly for long enough to prove the point, and if you want a 7 seater Minicab, get an import Emina Spacewagon-type thing, and be done.

So how is it different to the Touraeg (which I like but has been a bit of a sales disaster)?!

 

think the main aim is to compete against smaller suv's, e.g. rav4, X3 and freelander types

leaving the touraeg against X5, Landrover, ect.

 

Yeah another high tax band.......400 a year, i'll stick to my VR at 180

not sure if its more like a mini Q7 or an inflated A4 avant / a6 offroad.





still, the good news is Audi are putting in a 2.0tdi with 200+hp, which should find its way into a version of the A3 or A4......which is nice

what is it with all the high cars today , its great when pulling out on a 2 lane roundabout , i cant even see over there bonnet top for seeing whats coming
