I do agree. 204ps like the 4 motion has is plenty power, plus the addition of a supercharger is quite cheap isnt it really? In comparison to getting a 1.8t to similar power? So i dont know how its not achievable on a budget. Plus the torque from a 6 cylinder spanks a 4 and sounds far nicer Anyway! To the original thread, i dont think there was anything wrong with the R32's, the Mk4 and new Mk5 one. Id buy one just based on the noise in all honesty!
No, the addition of a supercharger isn't cheap. Have you done any research on how much a kit would cost?
who said anything about 300hp? for very little money, ive managed to tune mine to be quicker than a v6 4motion. this was my intention with the car- to go fast, for cheap. to get the hp gains i have on my car on a V6 youd be looking at alot of money.(btw-jonny777 a charger is certainly not cheap! for around half the price of a supercharger the 1.8T can reach higher hp with a simple remap). standard v standard id proberbly go for the V6, but no, i dont not think my "tuning potential" theory has gone bang. pound for pound, you cant beat the 1.8T for tuning. anyway, moving yet further away from the original post
It was in question form. And no, i tried with Storm Developments, but they didnt have any pricing up. I apologise if ive got anyones goat.
he has a 24v V6 in a mk2 which im confident wont stay standard for long. If anyones priced it up, i'll bet he has.
Ive got a fish. But yeah, R32's and V6 4 Motions are the nuts, it depends what you want Collie, my dad loves his V6 because its really understated and the ride isnt back destroying like the R32. Buuut obviously the R32 has the more racey look and better handling on the other side of the spectrum. Depends on what you're looking for
