What connects to the wastegate

    I bought these

    and what a load of pants it dont even fit though the silicon pipe enough to put the washer on

    just drill and tap hole, either in the silicon pipe, or as i have done in the intercooler pipe as close a possible to the compressor outlet..should take around 5 mins and 3-4 quid, assuming you have a tap and die set..

    I bought one of these yesterday, Am I right in thinking the the compressor outlet is the smaller outlet

    that goes in the silicon pipe. Are you building the motor. Surely you should know the parts of the turbo?[eek]

    learning as I go :thumbup:

    I know that goes in the silicon pipe but which side is the compressor side [:p]

    The side that doesnt connect to the exhaust manifold and the outlet is the bit where you cant see the compressor wheel and nut.

    Why aren't you keeping the little turbo technics dual boost switch option?!

    you tap the silcone with a punch that should be supplied,

    Just got in from the garage and did it exaclty like that cheers Tom :)

    I bought the wrong one and got the 4mm one bit of a bugger but I fitted it anyway.

    I'll try and keep the two stage boost but I havent figured out how its going to work at the mo
