What do you use to kneel on when working outside

    9 for both? not bad eh
    i was working under the car today and i had several people tell me to lay on something, and saying how cold it is...wimps...
    i have got one of those things you lay on with rollers on the bottom but my jack is so crap it wont lift the car high enough to use it! my nose would be touching the floor.:lol:

    **** knows but next time im near ECP im gonna get some.
    i get covered in scratches and marks from stones on the tarmac even tough i wear about three layers!

    on back,crap in eyes, beneath car
    not sure but it seems to be the easiest way to find a screw or stone[:x]
    maybe ask an old nun, whore or carpet fitter how their knees are

    I once kneeled down and caused a stone, chipped a chunk off the top of my skin bone.

    I couldn't kneel down for 18 months after that without being in agony.

    don't kneel on the concrete, it's not good for you.

    i used to use old carpet but now i just wait til the weekend and use the ramp at work [:$]

    i can't work on a ramp, it does my neck and shoulders in.

    TBH i agree, doing brake etc is fine but any length of time looking up say at exhaust and my neck aches.

    dont no how the full time mechanics do it ....
