Definately worth saving! and welding is quite easy to pick up by yourself, before the golf I'd only watched my cars being welded up... doing it yourself is 100 times more satisfying, buy a welder and give it a go
Yes i will give some of it a go but i`m having the floor professionaly done as the weld needs to be perfect for the structural strength etc etc as you all know. I got a good quote too.200 pounds per side to cut and replace the complete floor which i think isnt to bad,once that is done i will do the inner wing damage etc etc. I dont mind spending a grande or so on the welding as i`m a spray painter so will save a a fortune by painting it myself
