i'm getting my car on the rollers (3 hours)to get the 45mm carb setup. and if i get my act together. get a respray, fit this and sorting out a few inperfections. Edited by: kenn
I wanna get the Mk1 running before Feb, by that I mean fully road legal & everything mint. 235-250 bhp is my target.
My plans are to: Get back on the road with 6 months tax and a new ball joint. Finish Engine conversion (wiring needs tidying, alarm needs sorting and i need to replace the front and rear engine mounts) Repair Drivers Seat Finish fitting headlight washers Rebuild Oz Turbo's Refurblish Schmidts They are the main things..... got a few other bits to fit to the car such are rear headrests and a Kamei arm rest but they are optional at the end of the day..... the main mod that I'm doing is throwing my old car away and getting a new one !!!! i'm getting rid of my 90' Big Bumper jetta and getting a nice mk2 gti !!! then it will be a process of making that car to my liking ! roll on the summer shows and trackdays !
