2.25 should be fine. Unless you are going big power.

There are two schools of thought with this. I put mine near throttle body . But others say put near turbo side to dump hot air.

majority of pitures ive seen with 20v have it on the cold side(throttle side). ive seen 1 person have it on the hot side . so i dont know is there any disvantage or advantagen on either side

Stock it's on the hot side. So, you gotta have seen more then 1
I've read somewhere that near the TB would be best as the air would be release quicker after shutting the TB closed. But that teory of releasing hot air, is also good, I guess.

Thats why I chose TB side so air is released quicker but not seen any tests that show benefits for either.

The only reason to have a DV close to the throttle body is to get a quicker discharge of charged air. I run mine on the cold side.

In your case 2- 2.25 in diameter piping.

You put it where you wish but my guidance would be based on what was read per Corky Bell and Alexandra G. Bell, where in my applications the BOV should be placed pre IC on the hot end as it reduces work on the IC, reduces air column build up to throttle valve and thus compressor surge.

You actually get a quick dischage of hot expanded air if you release near to the compressor diffuser. Think about it.;)

2.5" will take longer to "fill" so will slow response. It will take up more space in the bay so i'd return it. Silicone should be cheaper when its smaller also.

Another 1 for DPH. They made a custom elbow for me and would use them again.
