Cheers Tommy, will have a look today

Ive heard these guys mentioned before somewhere. Will also have a look at there products today.

It would be good if there was kits out there for the MK2 20v conversions, but i suppose with everyone using different turbos and intercoolers it would be tricky to make a kit.

same with the mk1, thankfully there are enough run of the mill bits to make it work easily enough.

Sorry for the hijack, but is it best to use silicone hose or metal pipework where possible??! I'm think as much metal as poss then the odd bit of silicone to allow for engine flex etc?

though in all honesty i'd love to go k04 set up, as they look so much neater in terms of pipework routing.

Its your choice, silicone would work out more expensive, But easier if you dont have access to a welder to join stainless or ali sections

I'm going 50trim now, and hope to see 400 crank, so, I'm thinking 2.5" would be the best option, correct?
Currently I have 2" from turbo to IC and I have 2.5" from IC to TB (short section).
I'm thikning of mantaining the 2.5" section, but just change the 2" part.

Let me know your thoughts on this.

Looks great Jon  I know what you mean about the k04 setup. The piping looks great going around the engine.

Have you kept the PCV system on yours then ?

Also did you get the polished metal piping off ebay ?

    Cheers

    ;)

There was a guide on here which shows a step by step way to delete the Pcv system. I think alot of people do it with the 1.8T's.

I know in this thread i originally said i will be going for 2.25 inch piping, but will this be overkill on my setup ?

Ive got an AGU with k03 turbo. Qpeng downpipe and hopefully a remap - 190bhp.

Will 2.25 be ok, or will it cause lag ?

The fmic im going for has 2.5 outlet, but i can always get reducers for this.

Also, does anyone know off the top of there heads what size outlet the T.b has ?

    Cheers

2.25 will be fine,a k03 will spool in your drive so no lag issues even with 3" piping tbh.
Its best to do it this way too as you WILL ;) be upgrading the turbo soon,so may as well do it just the once & save the hassle.

    Cheers Peter

So im guessing, as there is little space between the T.b outlet and the intercooler outlets, i could just keep this side at 2.5 inch. A small length of straight pipe between two silicone joints should do the trick :)

    Cheers Tommy.

I know what you mean, the power itch will come around in the future. ;)

2.25" will be fine for you power wise, the TB is approx 2.5" or 63m ID pipingi used 2.5" from the BAM style turbo to i/c pipe (which is approx 60mm EX/Diameter) its not really laggy but has a bit more than the k03s on my leon.
