RX2's are nice but will just look like an Anniversary model- what about the RX's - i prefer the less fussy design and they are cheaper too as they are one piece!

Alternatively what about some chunky wide Brocks or summat?

If you're into the deep dish look, I don't think you can beat the FK Editions for the price. 17x8s RRP = 160ish but I'm sure you could get a set for a lot less now that every "performance" retailer seems to stock FK.

The only thing putting me off the BBS's is I want to be different [:s] I know they look at home on the MK3 as so many people have them.

The FK's are very tempting, Deep Dish is always on my mind..

+ Im lazy and cant be bothered to clean BBS's all the time [:D]

Any other DeepDish Wheels that look good and are reasonable ??

    Cheers For all Replys :)

    even yours Rob ;)

Depends on your budget really, if you want some mad rims get yourself on a few of the german sites and check out what they are running on there. My favourites are 17" BBS Splits RS001's I think or the RH ones I have on mine (although I maye be a little biased, lol!) ;)
The other thing worth taking into account is the width and offsets available, and if you want to run it low and whether you mind modding the arches?
For ease I'd go with your choice of BBS, as you know they will go on no problem, and you'll still be able to wind the coilovers down ;)

what offset is best with these as they are 8x17 and you can get 9x17.

Dont really want to mod the arches,

I'd go with the FK's. BBS are far too common. Deep Dish looks nice as well.

I have ET35 on my 8 x 17 RH splits, which look very similar to the FK's. I'm running 215/40/17's as the rim is far to exposed for daily driving on 205's (and at over 300 a corner, not worth the risk) plus it drove terribly on the 205's when pushed hard round the bends, felt as if the tyre was about to peel off! [:s]
The other downer with the 8's is that I hatd to raise and stiffen the rear a little to stop the arches rubbing underload, but have now had them rolled so can drop it again! :p

Tyre wise make sure you use a 215/40 for better road holding and overall diameter is a better match.

Wheel style is different for every car and totally depends on the colour of the car. So be very careful when choosing.
ie. polished or chrome wheels wont suit a very light car, but will look better the darker the car.
Multi spokes like the RX will have the effect of making the car look shorter and taller so if you want the car to look low then lessen the number of spokes (less clutter in the centre)

Forget the expense of BBS there are loads of other makers who do simillar styles. If your looking for price look at BSA, Excite, CAM (not BK, trust me), if your looking for quality then go european like Team Dynamics, Mille Miglia, Ronal etc.

Let me know the colour of the car and i'll help you as much as i can
